Frequently Asked Questions
What is a HomeMakers for America Cottage Meeting?
A cottage meeting is simply an opportunity to gather friends and neighbors in a home, library or community center to share a message of Liberty. In the same vein as the home-based business model such as Pampered Chef or Tupperware, HomeMakers for America has created the Cottage Meeting program as a way to share a product with them. Only this time you won’t be sharing plastic ware, you’ll be sharing the message of Liberty!
If you are concerned about the direction our nation is heading and want to do something to make a difference, hosting a Cottage Meeting is a great way to get involved. There is no place like home to restore hope in America and hosting a Cottage Meeting is a great way to spread the message of liberty across the nation one home and one family at a time.
Who can host a Cottage Meeting?
We invite all members of HomeMakers for America to consider hosting a Cottage Meeting. This is the most effective way to share your love of liberty with neighbors and friends.
Sign up here to be a Cottage Meeting Hostess. This will give you access to the materials you need to conduct a successful meeting. We will provide several learning modules with lesson plans. We believe HomeMakers have many resources to draw from beginning with their own experience as wives, mothers, neighbors and friends. We trust that HomeMakers around the country will add valuable information and insight to Cottage Meetings as they follow our lessons plans and adapt them to the needs of her neighbors and friends. A hostess may choose to host one Cottage Meeting or a series of lessons in a module. A group of neighbors may consider taking turns as hostess and/or presenter while completing one of our Cottage Meeting modules.
